MadForFabric - Liberty Scrap Packs

MadForFabric Etsy Liberty Scrap Packs

A couple of months ago I talked about my Etsy shop to destash my overflowing collection of fabric. I’ve since listed more Liberty charm packs and I have Liberty scrap packs too! You can look at the projects I’ve done with my Liberty London scraps here.

Here are a few pictures of new items in the shop. I’m still in the process of destashing so stop by occasionally to check on new listings.

Mad For Fabric - DIY Laminate Fabric Pouch

DIY Laminate Fabric Pouch Tutorial

A while ago I bought this super cute cat fabric on Etsy but I found the ink bled in the wash. I really love this fabric but was afraid it might stain anything against it red. Then I read about how to make my own laminate fabric using this Thermoweb Iron-On Vinyl and figured I could cover the fabric and sew myself a laminate pouch. Perfect!

Mad For Fabric - DIY Fabric Covered Phone Case

DIY Fabric Covered Phone Case

I’ve been trying to find a Liberty print phone case for my Samsung Galaxy but have discovered that the world only caters to the iPhone user population =( Then I came across this Martha Stewart’s Decoupage formula that works with fabric and makes the decoupaged item dishwasher safe! The Martha Stewart website has instructions and a video showing how to make a decoupaged iPhone case here. I used this decoupage previously in my fabric covered mini canvas tutorial and it turned out great so figured I would give this a try.
