5. Fussy Cut Heart Mug Rugs

Mad For Fabric Fussy Cut Heart Pixie Noel Christmas Mug Rug made with fabric scraps

Fussy cut your favorite fabric scraps to make a mug rug. Pattern is available in my Etsy shop. See all the mug rugs I made with the pattern in this post.

6. Selvage Fabric Scrap Mug Rugs

I don’t like to throw away my selvages to have them become landfill so I make mug rugs when I want a quick sewing project. I sewed the scraps together to make a bigger piece of fabric and then cut on a diagonal and sewed the pieces together again to create some visual interest. I loved how they turned it!

I hope this gives you inspiration on project ideas with your fabric scraps. If you want to see more fabric scrap project ideas check out my other fabric scrap projects.
